Freshmen prepare for their first Coreografias experience

March 16, 2023

Coregrafias is right around the corner and Grade 9 students have done a fantastic job for this being their first year participating in this prestigious Colegio Menor event.

For this year’s event, Grade 9 will be presenting on the theme of Incan mythology. And while they are getting close to being ready for their final performance on Friday, the work leading up to this point in the process hasn’t come without sacrifice.

“The most challenging part has been spending a lot of time in practices and leaving sports and other side hobbies aside,” said Isabella Dominguez, a freshman leader. “It has been very complicated to manage times outside of what is not Coreografias.”

The freshman have survived a really hard process during these past three/four weeks of choreographies preparation, completing their Telon, script, mixes and dances in time.

And even despite being new to the production, Grade 9 is confident in their ability to make an impact in their first experience.

“It’s our first year, but since the beginning of the year, we have joined together,” said Emilio Franco, a Grade 9 ClassCo. “I’m really surprised with how much effort everyone has put into (Coreografias).”

To be dedicated this much towards the event, the freshmen are looking forward to exceeding the expectation that they will end up at the bottom of the podium.

Nothing more and nothing less, the event is created to make the grades come together and hopefully we can see an amazing performance from the freshmen that are for sure going to give their best performance on stage.

Grade 9 is coming in strong and with their minds set to achieve only one goal.
