Luciana Teran is a new 12th grade student at Colegio Menor.
Lucia says that her favorite subject is biology and plans on studying this same topic in the future. For right now, she chose the Environmental Science class as one of her electives.
Born in October, Teran recalls her favorite memory as the first time she visited Italy. Even if she didn’t understand Italian yet, she really got along with her great aunt and she has now become a very important person in her life.
Luciana is also learned how to play the piano and has recently started playing tennis again.
Her hero is her grandpa from her father’s side. Coming from a low income family, he worked hard every day of his life and has gained a life everyone is truly proud of. She said that his story is a top tier example of how you can do whatever you set your mind to.
Teran does not have a favorite food, yet she loves trying new things, especially international cuisine.
Finally, some things she would like people to know about herself is the fact that she studied her whole life in Colegio Aleman and changed school for senior year. With that choice, she can now focus on studying marine biology in Germany or Norway.
She chose Kournalism class because after looking at the columns in the National Geographic magazines, she was determined to learn to write and take better pictures so one day she could have the chance to work for them or World Wide Foundation (WWF).
Luciana says that it’s never too late to try something new.
“You will always have time to change anything and follow your dreams,” said Luciana.
