Bernardo Perez, Staff Writer
Bernardo Perez, an 11th grader at Colegio Menor, is deeply passionate about various aspects of his life.
His love for football is undeniable, and can’t miss that opportunity. When football isn’t an option, he goes to the gym, maintaining his commitment to an active lifestyle. Beyond physical activities, Bernardo finds immense joy in spending quality time with his friends.
In the academic part, Bernardo’s enthusiasm is most evident in two subjects: Physical Education (PE) and English. PE allows him to merge his love for sports with the joy of exercise, making it a favorite. Also, in his English class, where he not only enjoys the subject matter but also relishes the camaraderie of his friends and the creativity involved in writing.
Looking ahead, Bernardo has a clear vision for his future. Upon graduation, he aspires to pursue a culinary journey in gastronomy. Intrigued by the art of baking and cooking since childhood, he aims to refine his skills and knowledge. His dream path involves a strategic route: first, studying for one or two years in Ecuador to lay a solid foundation, followed by some years in France to become stronger in that subject.
Bernardo’s passion for baking grew from his early years when he found joy in creating things for his family. This passion ultimately helped him in his chosen field of study.
In his quest to represent his school, Menor, in an impactful and engaging manner, he joined journalism. He liked the subject due to its inherent passion and the unique opportunity it presented to showcase his school’s essence effectively.
Bernardo is happy to be here and wants to continue to participate in this school.
