Mateo Correa is a senior, and his favorite classes are Journalism, AP Environmental, and English. The reason he is taking AP Environmental is because he hopes to use his learning of sustainability in the construction business. Therefore this class is the best thing he could be taking right now for the future of green building.

In the future, he hopes to become the CEO of a multinational company that specializes in investment, real estate, construction, sustainability, and technology. This way he can contribute towards innovation and a better future for the world all around. To him innovation and construction is the key to success, it is his passion, and it’s the way he is going to change the world.

“This summer I ended up going to Cambridge for a STEM program, in which I learned about innovation and different feats of the human race.” said Mateo “It’s really motivating to see the change caused by us, and how everything we touch has the potential to either destroy or create.”

A tidbit that not everyone knows is that Matoe loves to travel and make friends wherever he goes. He likes having contacts all over the world as you never know when you might be in another country and need a little help. He loves to do different activities with them as he likes to indulge himself in the local lifestyle instead of feeling like a tourist. He enjoys surfing when at the beach and loves to jetski as well.

He wants to study in the United States as he is a dual citizen. He believes he can get a good job to start with over there and he thinks that it’s gonna be great for experience and for making contacts. Eventually, he wants to live all over the world but some of the main destinations include the USA, Ecuador, Croatia, the UK, and Italy.
