Samantha Torres is a 17 year old senior and she likes to be called “Samy.”

She joined journalism to write about important events happening and to inform Colegio Menor’s students of the daily news throughout the school. Also, she wanted to join this class to increase her knowledge of how to write news and how to structure it. 

For her future, she wishes to study fashion business in Italy, since she loves how fashion is seen in people’s everyday life.  She would like to increase her skills and abilities by going to Instituto Marangoni. 

“Fashion is something inspiring since I can express myself by the outfits that I create,” said Samantha.

Outside of this class, she enjoys walking and talking to her friends. Outside of school, she enjoys dancing, going to her pilates class, spending time with her friends, and listening to music.

Her favorite class is AP psychology because she would like to increase her understanding of how a human’s brain works. Her favorite restaurant is “Mercato” because she loves Italian cuisine.

One of her favorite hobbies is traveling and knowing the different cultures of countries. This past summer she traveled to the entire country of Italy.
