Violeta Duranona, Multimedia Editor

Violeta Duranona is new in school this year, and she’s in 12th grade. She was born on January 17th in Argentina but has lived in three different countries her whole life: Argentina, Mexico, and Ecuador. She lived in Mexico for three years after coming to Ecuador. After high school, she wants to study International relationships in Madrid, Spain. She’s a 17-year-old Capricorn who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and cherishes her time with friends, this being her favorite thing to do outside of school. Violeta is also the eldest of three siblings and her two little brothers; Santos is a fourteen-year-old kid, and Vicente, is 10 years old.

Violeta enrolled in the journalism course because she felt attracted to the idea of working on the school’s news and knowing about what was going on in her environment. She applied to the positions of social manager and media because she relishes publicity and graphic design jobs. Following this artistic part, she registered in the 2D Mixed Media course, where she implicates the basics of art: color, proportion, texture, and more. The abilities practiced in this area would improve also the presentation of her publicity for the newspaper.

Furthermore, Violeta loves animals and has a cat whose name is Lupita. Her favorite artist is Charlie García.
