Valentina Mosquera, also known as "Vale," is currently in 12th grade and is eagerly anticipating her final year of school. She is enrolled in AP Psychology and Pre-Med classes, both of which are crucial for her chosen career path in Psychology.
While she hopes to study abroad, she's prepared to continue her education at USFQ if necessary. In addition to her academic pursuits, Vale is an active member of STUGOV, serving as the current Promotions Chair, and she's a valued member of the Varsity Soccer Team.
Valentina has a diverse range of interests outside of school. She has a passion for music, enjoying various genres, and cherishes spending time with her friends. Family holds a special place in her heart, and she particularly enjoys cooking with them. Her culinary skills have been honed from a young age as she's always been drawn to the kitchen, learning to prepare delectable dishes.
Her decision to join the Journalism class stemmed from her desire to be a part of something different, specifically the school's newspaper staff. Vale was keen to enhance her storytelling abilities and contribute to informing the school community. She recognizes that Journalism provides valuable opportunities and skills that will be indispensable in her future.
In her own words, "My goal in this class is to acquire knowledge that will benefit me in my university studies." Valentina is eagerly looking forward to writing captivating stories and delivering the best newspaper the school has ever seen to the community.
